Baskets that Contain, Restrict, and Protect 

Baskets made of construction fencing that has been cut, bent, secured and otherwise manipulated to form a vortex structure. The sheen of the orange plastic emphasizes the chalky, matte surface of the ceramic interiors. The zip ties, analogous in color to the ceramic forms, hang like decorative charms on the fencing and hold the entire form together. The fencing has also been melted and welded together in the spaces where there are no zip ties. The construction fencing is recycled.
